The Role

The Health and Welfare Operations Solutions Business Analyst works on the front line of high impact business-driven initiatives and internal product improvement opportunities. This role will be focusing on supporting our ongoing operations for our Health and Welfare clients and Reimbursement Account clients.

The Team

The Operations Solutions Team is essential to Fidelity's Health & Welfare organization. We are accountable for the accuracy of file business requirements that are critical to our ability to serve as a directed record keeper for our plan sponsors. We also serve as process authorities and are responsible for supporting business analysis for system development projects to ensure that the systems are functioning according to the detailed business requirements.

The Expertise You Have

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience in financial services, HR, payroll, benefits, systems development, product development, and/or project/product management
  • Experience with Health Care Industry specific file interfaces
  • Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits experience is desired
  • Strong knowledge of Fidelity's End to End business process life cycle and a solid grasp of data process flows, plan level provisions, and Fidelity HRS recordkeeping processes.
  • Functional experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to perform analysis on large data sets, preferred
  • ANSI Knowledge, preferred
  • Experience with file creation strategies across formats, preferred
  • CBAP Certification, preferred

  • Your experience with product experience a plus
  • Your understanding of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Methodology
  • Your proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and large data tools

As part of the Fidelity Heath Care Operations organization, the Operations Solutions Business Analyst is responsible for a book of internal projects. He or she examines business systems, client needs and processes to document requirements, and address operational issues or process improvement needs to accomplish business and client objectives. The successful candidate will be capable of implementing in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
