Job Description:

We are looking for a multifaceted leader to help drive and optimize our resiliency capabilities! As a member of the Asset Management (AM) Risk team, together, we will drive outcomes to increase resiliency across the AM organization. The Director of IT Resiliency is a highly visible and fast paced role with exposure to enterprise technology teams and the AM business and technology.

You will be responsible for developing and driving the strategic vision of AM's IT Resiliency Program. With direct functional accountability for the tactical execution of the program you will define, lead, and drive resiliency initiatives that increase and demonstrate resiliency capabilities, and partnering with technology to ensure recovery plans are actionable and effective. You will also support the Information Barriers program. This role will provide domain expertise and leadership in continuity and recovery principles, critical thinking, as well as providing executive level reporting and updates.

Together, we will build clarity into Asset Management's resiliency posture, supervising metrics and driving improvements to processes including driving more automation to increasing efficiency, defining key performance and risk indicators to demonstrate our readiness for impacting events and managing risk. Additionally, you will partner with the Business Resiliency lead to ensure continuity plans are assigned.

The Expertise You Have

  • 10 years experience in Business and IT resiliency in the financial services industry
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery certifications are preferred
  • Solid grasp of technology infrastructures, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) and capabilities, and applications, Cloud certifications are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience of database structures, security, and SQL
  • Experience in Asset Management or Investment Management Technology
  • Proven project management experience including prioritization, sizing, status reporting and issue mitigation
  • In depth knowledge of data analysis techniques and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Python)

Asset Management Risk provides direction to management and business units by proactively identifying and monitoring risks to protect the interests of the firm, clients, and associates. To complete this goal, Asset Management Risk is responsible for identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving their controls, processes and continuity of IT and business operations.
