Job Description:

Reporting to VP of Product in an exciting startup, this role will be responsible for building and scaling a business within Fidelity Labs!

You will use client, market and business sentiment to assist in developing a pitch supported by market research, interpret a prioritized product roadmap for new FinTech business opportunities, and champion the client needs with the team. The role will focus solving an exciting problem with focus on total cost of ownership and go to market planning. You will also explore internal and external relationships to identify new features and packaging options for incremental revenue streams. The successful candidate will partner with and influence technology and business leaders and is motivated by outcome and impact!

The Expertise you have

  • A bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred
  • Validated experience in financial services or SaaS sales and/or marketing technology is required
  • Experience delivering technology solutions for institutional client consumption
  • Experience in putting together clear and concise business cases to fund work with measurable value and identified critical metrics
  • Experience gathering customer and user requirements, creating use cases, writing user stories
  • Experience with management of product financials and TCO, using this insight to plan product strategy
  • Proven ability to formulate strategic partnerships and negotiate effectively to drive business growth and enhance product offerings
  • Demonstrable experience working in/with and leading agile teams

  • Highly developed curiosity in customer problems and passion for discovering new ways to tackle them
  • Knowledge and/or competence to learn how ML models work, privacy regulations, competitive landscape, technology and current trends
  • Ability to communicate (written/verbal) effectively and drive positive relationships across roles, levels, and partners
  • Proactive and driven leader who sets a strong example, demonstrates ambition, and develops a culture of accountability within the team
  • Flexible, responsive, able to adapt/evolve and willingness to play a variety of roles to drive execution across a number of work streams

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once with focus on outcome
  • Operational experience with the early development and/or assessment of business models; experience developing financial services products, platforms, and services, launching them quickly, and driving market adoption

  • Assemble and maintain a strong set of competitive knowledge

  • Creation of thought leadership on problem statements, capabilities/tools and use case opportunities
  • Drive visibility and alignment across the team and partners
  • Help craft and maintain product team standards with sensitivity to TCO
  • Identify and solve sophisticated issues quickly, turn them into simple and intuitive solutions
  • Build strong partnerships across the enterprise to both uncover new tools and capabilities, and identify where they can be brought to bear
  • Create, manage and prioritize the product backlog backed by customer needs and business opportunity
  • Drive adoption of created product(s)
