The Role
Fidelity Charitable is looking for a Director of Planning and Execution Enablement to join the Service Delivery & Operations organization and serve as a member of our senior leadership team. This leader will be responsible for the planning and execution of our strategy in a customer segmented environment. You must strategically manage competing priorities, processes, and customer needs to ensure that the highest value will be obtained.
The primary goal of this role is to plan and drive numerous initiatives & leadership planning routines to help enhance client satisfaction and retention, support the digital transformation of the business and collaborate across Fidelity Charitable (FC) while driving quality, scale & efficiency for a highly engaged workforce. You will play a critical role supporting the leaders of the function develop and implement the Service Delivery & Operations strategy as well as track and inform the prioritization of various initiatives. Additionally, you will partner with various leaders to support core operations planning and working with the Portfolio Delivery function to ensure transparency to the Service & Operations roadmaps, develop executive-level presentations, and coordinate highly transparent workstreams.

- Partner with leaders to develop strategic business initiatives and mechanisms for tracking and reporting progress
- Provide leadership and direction to help plan, prioritize and run a variety of process improvement initiatives to ensure our long-term strategic objectives are met. Develop communications and presentations drive key messages
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Performing resource planning and budgeting. Performing cost, benefit and risk analyses on current and proposed initiatives to ensure appropriate balance of quality customer service with efficient execution of work.
- Continually evaluate work distribution and performance. Design and generate reports to measure and communicate the teams' progress against key business metrics and manage workflow and productivity.
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve Fidelity Charitable's operational capabilities and performance
- Keep abreast of internal and external operational developments and best-in-class capabilities.
The Skills/ Experience You Bring
- College degree, MBA preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in business strategy & planning, service and/or brokerage operations, technology or program management
- 5+ years of demonstrated success leading multiple projects simultaneously, while planning activities of varying complexity
- Proven experience working in project management /agile environment, collaborating with partners, and focusing on business outcomes to improve the client experience for our donors, advisors and non-profit organizations.
- Strong, effective verbal/written communication skills to influence, build consensus and integrate complex information.
- Able to synthesize and simplify complex ideas and deliver executive-level presentations
- Your strong influencing skills will be used to negotiate with peers and leaders, as well as across organizational boundaries
- Your ability to be a self-starter with a high degree of ownership and accountability for outcomes, and ability to own initiatives, learn quickly and think independently
- Strong sense of agility and adaptability to react constructively and positively to shifting priorities, unexpected events, and seasonal demands
- Strong organizational navigator who collaborates effectively to find optimal compromises and creative solutions to drive the business forward
- Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with multiple key business partners upon which we rely on to complete our work.
- Continually challenge the way we do things and implement new/different ways to approach the work with increasing volumes and a static workforce
- Highly fluent in using project management frameworks and tools
- Familiarity with Jira or other work planning tools
