Director, Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning

The Role

The Director of Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning will own go-to-market (GTM) planning, market readiness, delivery, and reporting for several complex institutional and retail initiatives, collaborating with other GTM team members to deliver against plan. With an emphasis on business readiness, sales and service enablement, and client experience and communications, the GTM lead will drive discovery with SMEs in product, legal, compliance, and operations, and documentation of GTM plans, including scenario planning, messaging frameworks, and key workflows and client journeys. Reporting to the Vice President of Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning, the Director will help represent GTM in cross-functional forums and have the opportunity to work directly with leadership. Fidelity Digital Assets® is a growth business, so comfort with varying pace of work, shifting with the business and market needs, and operating with a high degree of ambiguity is required.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

A client service and risk management-minded strategist and planner who uses data and insights to build and implement GTM plans and is skilled at navigating cross-functional, cross-business unit relationships. A strong communicator able to build clear business narratives and client engagement and field enablement strategies, and distill complex concepts and process flows for multiple audiences.

  • Field enablement, business planning, project management, or product marketing experience required. Institutional background or experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Ability to seamlessly switch between big picture and more tactical thinking, identify business and reputational risks that need to be considered in planning, and go deep on discovery with functional SMEs.
  • Confident in driving conversations that progress integrated planning and enable other teams to advance work in their respective areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to stand up and run cross-functional workstreams, ensure visibility and alignment, and identify dependencies and points of integration across the GTM portfolio in addition to the projects you are accountable for.

As a key part of the product delivery cycle, the Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning team collaborates deeply with Fidelity Digital Assets' product, operations, sales, and service teams to ensure business readiness for the rollout of new or enhanced capabilities and key cross-business initiatives.
