The Role

The Equity SMA Product team (Separately Managed Account) is looking for an upbeat leader who is passionate about defining, evolving, and implementing the strategic product offering This leader will use innovative thinking to develop new, and transform existing, solutions aimed at meeting the complex needs of our clients' investment goals!

The Director's focus in this fast-paced, industry leading space will be to advance the work of building and supporting Equity SMA products and to deliver valuable solutions through knowledge of clients, investments, and the markets.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10-12+ years of experience. MBA a plus.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred.
  • CFP®, CFA® or other industry designation(s) a plus.
  • Strong investment knowledge and/or financial services product management experience, with an understanding of the competitive landscape in the High Net Worth, Wealth Management and SMA markets.
  • Experience in product management including marketing financial services products, product positioning, collateral creation, and R&D.
  • Knowledge of investment products, particularly managed accounts, and financial planning.
  • Driving competitive advantage through outstanding customer experience and targeted customer communications.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Digital marketing experience a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize sophisticated data from multiple, disparate sources and present analysis, relevant insights, and themes in a simple, understandable way.
  • Familiarity working with technology teams using agile methodology
  • Understanding of client-facing/advisor-led process a plus.

The Team

As a member of the Equity SMA Product team, the Director is embedded in the Wealth Investment Solutions product area, which provides discretionary money management services on more than 2 million managed accounts with more than $800B in assets under management. The team is a multi-functional group of individuals with product management, product delivery, digital content development, investment, and field expertise.

The Director performs research and analysis on future and existing products and completes competitive analysis on industry trends to develop new Equity SMA growth initiatives. In addition, the Director creates targeted and timely messaging on products and interacts frequently with client-facing associates to provide daily product support, capturing the voice of clients & associates and continuously improving on our existing solutions. The role collaborates closely with the many teams within Wealth Investment Solutions, as well as client-facing leadership, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Risk and Compliance, and various asset management teams.
