The Role
Do you excel at helping clients tackle meaningful issues? Do you have knowledge of the Defined Benefits industry? As part of our Data Consulting team, your work will help provide clients high quality, comprehensive and efficient quality solutions regarding their benefit programs.
The Senior Data Consultant is responsible for business development and overall service delivery of data consulting services to the client. In this role, you will interact directly with clients as well as participate in project status meetings with the Consultant. Additionally, you will work with the Consultant and the internal Fidelity team, as needed, on identifying and reviewing the client's data and custom administration needs and propose solutions to meet them. You will be accountable for program management of the client assignment working in a deadline-oriented environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10 years+ of experience in a Defined Benefit consulting, client management or an administration team manager role (corporate benefits, outsourcing or consulting firm)
- 3 years+ of business development experience
- 3 years+ focused on program/project management
- Implementation experience preferred
- Understanding of Defined Benefit plans and administration is required. Defined Benefit, Stock Plan, Health Savings Account, Health and Welfare administration, payroll/HRIS systems experience is a plus
- Leading the initial new business development process from prospecting to final project completion
- Positive relationship leadership skills including relationship building, influencing, and a consultative approach.
- Strong problem solving and outstanding program management skills.
- Expansive depth and breadth of the Defined Benefit industry.
The Value You Deliver
- Building, managing, and growing client relationships by delivering an outstanding level of customer satisfaction with every engagement.
- Owning the creation and delivery of benefit adding proposals, up to and including client contract sign-off and approval.
- Ensuring project team members deliver realistic project plans including scope, duration, and effort.
- Providing oversight to the program to ensure it is aligned to the strategy, plan, and budget.
- Identifying risk areas and lead team to appropriate solutions when obstacles are encountered.
- Identifying, defining, acquiring, digesting, and applying client specific benefit plan knowledge, inclusive of administrative procedures, systems configuration, and data utilization.
The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$218,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
