The Role:
The Director, CLO Portfolio Services will work closely with the Grand Harbour Investment Team to enhance the operational model for the Grand Harbour warehouses and live deals. Specifically, the Director will monitor traded and settled positions across CLOs to ensure the data in Virtus is accurate and complete for the portfolio management team. The Director will ensure the efficiency of all workflows around hypothetical trades, compliance tests and trading for the CLOs. They will also support the Investment Team to track reinvestable obligations, monitor investable cash positions, and review/track participation in workout loans, restructured loans and loans with maturity amendments. In addition, the Direcotr will be deeply involved with testing new tools' portfolio management capabilities and ensure new technologies are implemented successfully for the Investment Team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor traded and settled positions for each CLO across data sources (Trustees, Invest One, ClearPar, etc.) to ensure that information is accurately reflected in Virtus for portfolio management purposes
- Monitor balances and investable cash positions for each CLO on a daily basis
- Track reinvestable obligations, hypo results and executed trading plans for post-reinvestment deals
- Work with CLO portfolio managers, compliance, and trustees on hypothetical trading plans
- Review and track participation in workout loans, restructured loans and maturity amendments
- Coordinate with FFIO to ensure prompt loan settlements
- Coordinate with Virtus on accuracy of paydowns and interest payments
- Partner with FFIO on efficient settlement and other transaction booking protocols
- Liaise with technology, compliance, legal, operations, portfolio management, trading, and other internal Fidelity partners to evaluate and enhance portfolio management applications and tools
- Partner with Compliance on streamlining existing review processes and identifying/resolving possible indenture breaches
The position requires close interaction with portfolio managers, traders, legal, compliance, investment services, third party trustees, underwriters and Fidelity's Investment Operations teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- BA / BS degree required, advanced degree a plus. Major or concentration in legal, finance, business administration, or accounting preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of financial services experience, with preference towards prior experience with leveraged loan/CLO operations
- Proficient in trading operations, terminology, and market mechanics
- Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities in fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of the European leveraged loan market and structured finance transactions.
- Working knowledge of Virtus, familiarity with Rating Agencies (Moody's, S&P, Fitch).
- Experience with credit agreements, term sheets, indentures and other security offering documents.
- Interact with Trustee to communicate hypothetical trades and assess impact to compliance results.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly with other members of the Investment & Investment Services teams.
- Reliable, self-starter, highly detail oriented, well-organized and able to manage several priorities and deadlines.
