Position Description:

Applicants are permitted to work remotely from an at home work site anywhere in the United States.

Responsible for delivering measurable growth results by keeping up with market trends, conducting or sponsoring new analysis, and working with internal and external stakeholders. Identifies market needs and new product concepts for early-stage testing. Works across product, marketing, and sales, as well as with external partners, to develop and implement strategies to achieve growth objectives. Proposes distribution strategies, monitors lead generation, and analyzes data across distribution channels to propose strategies that maximize channel efficiencies and increase ROI. Implements strategies for rolling out new products to both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C). Identifies, develops, and nurtures external partnerships to establish new business opportunities that mutually expand a shared value proposition.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and distills pertinent data and information from multiple sources to recommend new opportunities to pursue, backed by data findings.
  • Documents findings, prepares recommendations and adjust strategies as the products/markets evolve.
  • Prepare and deliver presentation to executives, internal and external stakeholders to obtain buy-in and align resources.
  • Leads proactive, ongoing competitive and market trends tracking and analysis, and translate findings into insights for market penetration.
  • Builds deterministic models to determine the best actions to take, given internally- and/or externally-imposed constraints.
  • Develops stochastic models to gauge business uncertainty and evaluates risk in business decisions.
  • Conducts research to determine strengths and weaknesses of the products/services, and document feedback, including but not limited to interviews, focus groups, surveys, observations, etc.
  • Proposes and conducts A/B testing and other randomized experimentation to identify best performing strategies.
  • Creates graphical representations of data using charts, graphs, and maps and integrate analysis into data visualization software to document findings and prepare recommendations.
  • Defines SMART growth goals with measurable KPIs for emerging products.
  • Proposes strategies that deliver measurable growth applying nudge / heuristics theory to drive customer behavior.
  • Defines/narrows target audience based on data analysis and key business objectives.
  • Subject matter authority in non-traditional workers, including but not limited to competitive landscape, priority needs, benefit offerings, regulatory trends, etc.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Analytics and Information Management, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Business Analysis (or closely related occupation) performing strategy consulting, business process transformation, product development and program management.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Analytics and Information Management, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Business Analysis (or closely related occupation) performing strategy consulting, business process transformation, product development and program management.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") growing a new product, brand, or business in B2B and B2C environments, including delivering measurable growth results with defined KPIs, defining business requirements, and developing project plans; and managing and overseeing projects of complex and strategic initiatives using Agile methodologies and tools including Jira or Asana.
  • DE conducting both qualitative and quantitative research using primary (surveys, interviews, focus groups, or observations) and secondary (publications, libraries, or archives) research techniques, including defining research objectives and methodology, collecting and analyzing data to deliver insights that inform recommendations.
  • DE analyzing data to inform decision making, including converting insights from Customer and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems/databases including Salesforce or Snowflake, business-wide repositories including SharePoint, Lighthouse, or Seismic, and digital experiences including ContentSquare to determine, recommend, and execute growth-related strategies and propose modifications and improvements.
  • DE creating and delivering executive-level presentations and reports to influence business outcomes using data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, or Think-cell) and business intelligence technologies (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPivot, or PerformancePoint).

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
