The Role
We are seeking a motivated associate who is customer-focused and thrives working with cross-company teams to deliver outstanding products and services related to 529 College Savings Plan and Attainable Savings Plan (ABLE) activity. This opportunity is for a Business Enablement associate in the Saving & Lending Product Area in the Cash Solutions domain. The position will work on customer focused efforts and improvements primarily related to 529 College Savings Plan and ABLE activity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading and implementing deliverables on product and service roadmap and other key initiatives to improve the customer experience and product offering
- Driving regulatory implementation and support product/project management activity for 529 & ABLE-related initiatives
- Actively participating in defining business requirements for product enhancements based on client needs regulatory updates and requests from our state client partners
- Performing key day-to-day product needs for 529 & ABLE, including but not limited to: problem research and resolution, leading service recoveries, supporting policy updates and other regulatory requirements
- Leading implementation and general project management for new and/or upgraded products and experiences, including readiness & communications for clients and Fidelity associates, business testing and other related activities
- Implementing, measuring, and applying metrics & data to aid in identifying product enhancement and improvement opportunities
- Assisting with meaningful metric activity, reporting needs, and presentations associated with the product and service offering
- Participating in the prioritization of the work (in partnership with product leadership) to deliver customer value based on research and an understanding of business and client needs

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience and possesses good financial services experience.
- Shown experience:
- product management, project management, business analysis, data/systems analysis, and process improvement
- synthesizing requirements and business needs for technology partners
- analyzing data to advise decisions allows you to make decisions and define work based on data and client trends
- Building partnerships; including working directly with clients, Development Team, Marketing Team, Distribution/Sales Team, 3rd Parties, Legal Team, and other business partners
- Ability to work & act independently, multi-task, influence others
- Strong client service, organization and communication /presentation
- Business knowledge and general knowledge of the financial services industry
- Ability to think beyond traditional financial services to drive outstanding experiences for our clients
- FINRA Licensing (Series 7, Series 63/66, Series 24, Series 9/10) is a plus but not a requirement.
- Familiarity with and understanding of 529 & ABLE products and services is preferred
- Strong understanding of financial services, the Fidelity ecosystem and the voice of the customer
The Team
The 529 & ABLE Product team is customer obsessed and plays an ownership role in all aspects of product management to ensure ongoing success and growth of our state plans as well as helping customers pay for related to education and disability expenses while also growing the holistic Fidelity relationship beyond 529 & ABLE.
