Chapter Leader, Digital Identity
The Role
The Digital Security Identity Chapter is embarking on a multi-year journey to build out modern customer identity capabilities. As the Chapter Leader, you will lead a team of engineers to create transformative identity management solutions across multiple digital experiences and products and deliver outstanding digital experiences to customers in a reusable, scalable, and efficient way. You will partner with stakeholders across business units to identify the capability needs, develop an integrated roadmap, and execute your plans.
- Articulate and design identity management solutions in partnership with architecture and product owners across multiple Business Units to address customers and associates needs
- Set technical direction for the engineering team and define architectural standards in partnership with other leaders.
- Solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative delivery environment
- Develop and execute on the roadmap that aligns to the identity platform vision
- Provide direct management, coaching, and mentoring for a growing engineering team, with a specific focus on career development

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing highly functional and scalable software applications using Java, Angular, Node, GraphQL, and AWS.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience building, leading, and growing highly-effective teams
- Experience in deploying and supporting large scale solutions that impact millions of customers and thousands of associates across a complex ecosystem
- Experience working within environments heavily focused on TDD, automation, and DevSecOps concepts to rapidly deliver, measure, and iterate on products and features.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, possessing the ability to quickly understand complex systems and their associated data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- (Preferred) experience in customer identity and access management

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
