The Role

We're looking for a collaborative, and team-focused Associate Business Analyst with phenomenal interpersonal skills that can work across business and technology departments and teams. This role has the unique opportunity to assist in the design and delivery of crypto custody and trading solutions.

The Associate Business Analyst will work closely with multi-functional, multi-disciplinary teams responsible for delivering all aspects of the Fidelity Digital Assets platform. The Associate Business Analyst will support initiatives with diverse scope to meet complex business problems, acting as an interface between end users, product management and the technology organization. You will work closely with team members in the operations, client service, business development, risk, compliance, legal and technology areas. You will also support the creation of requirements, epics, user stories, and test scenarios.

This role requires a dedicated, committed, and passionate individual who is able to:

  • Elicit business requirements through interviewing or conducting group requirements sessions
  • Support organizational Readiness and Deployment activities throughout each release
  • Communicate issues and feedback in a clear, concise, and timely manner
  • Perform analysis using screen mockups, data, use cases and other relevant analysis tools
  • Provide constructive feedback for future process and product improvements
  • Work with engineering and business teams to ensure adequate test coverage of system changes/enhancements and ensuring requirements are being met
  • Create project documentation including current/future state diagrams, process flows, business requirements, test cases and issue tracking

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Finance, or Business related field
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data using SQL and other query languages.
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or traditional project management principles and practices preferred
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Mural or similar Agile backlog management tools preferred
  • A desire to be client-obsessed and dedicated to understanding client needs and requirements
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Skilled using data and insights to make decisions and influence others
  • Experience solving problems and resolving conflicts through strong mediation skills
  • Identify problems, research issues, and provide options for resolution
  • Experience in the financial services and/or cryptocurrency industry a plus

The FDA Product Delivery team is central to enhancing and delivering platform capabilities that serve FDA Institutional clients and platform consumers to offer Digital Asset products to their customers.
