Lead RF and Antenna Engineering Team in the development of next-generation wearable devices. Deep
understanding of antenna design, RF circuit design, wireless communication technologies, and hands-on
experience in managing complex engineering projects. Responsible for overseeing team designing,
testing, and optimization of RF systems, antennas, and wireless communication modules to achieve
product excellence and meet regulatory requirements.
This is a hybrid position where you must report to the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of RF Engineers, Antenna Designers, and Wireless System Engineers,
fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Define team goals, set performance metrics, and provide technical guidance throughout the
- development lifecycle.
- Plan, priorize, and allocate resources to ensure timely and successful project completion, meeting
both technical and business objectives.
- Drive team to meet project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with PMO.
- Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team, developing their skills and career growth.
- Oversee the design and integration of antennas, RF circuits, and wireless communication systems
including WiFi, BT, 4G and 5G circuits into wearable devices, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers,
to integrate RF and antenna components effectively.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and trade-off analyses to select appropriate RF and
antenna technologies for the wearable device.
- Drive to project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with PMO
- Extensive experience in designing RF and wireless systems for 4G LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7, and
Bluetooth (BT) technologies.
- Proven track record of integrating multi-band antennas and low-power wireless systems in compact
devices, particularly in the areas of Wi-Fi 6/7 and Bluetooth.
- Deep understanding of RF front-end design, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, filters, and
matching networks for 4G/5G and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth coexistence.
- Proficiency with RF and antenna design tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, MATLAB, and measurement,
instruments like vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and over-the-air (OTA) testing
systems. Establish and enforce best practices for RF and antenna measurement, simulation, and
analysis using these tools.
- Experience in optimizing RF performance to meet regulatory requirements and certifications, such
as FCC, CE or other regional standards. Work with regulatory team through the certification process.
- Define and lead RF system validation and testing processes, including simulations, lab testing, and
field testing to verify performance and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in RF and wireless design, identifying and addressing
challenges with novel solutions.
- Research and stay updated on emerging RF, antenna, and wireless technologies applicable to
wearable devices, incorporating them into future products.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in RF engineering, with a focus on antenna design and wireless system integraon in consumer electronics or wearable devices.
• 3 or more years of leadership experience managing RF engineering teams and delivering successful products
to market
• Track record of delivering high-quality RF designs within budget and on time.
Preferred:
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive team performance and collaboration.
