You will primarily support the department's research projects related to housing and access to credit, responsibilities include literature review, empirical analysis, and writing/editing draft reports.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a graduate level student for a summer internship in the bank's Community Development Regional Outreach department. Students majoring in Economics, Real Estate, Finance, and other related studies will be preferred. Internships are generally a 10-week program.

The job description below is a dual grade job posting. Candidates who possess a slightly lower level of experience, education, or qualifications may also be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will support research projects on the rising costs of property insurance, how it varies across different populations and neighborhoods, its implications for housing prices, and help with other research projects related to housing and access to credit. Required Skills:

Experience with or familiarity of programming languages such as R, Stata, or Python, or STATA.

Experience working with large datasets in housing or consumer finance.

Ability to write clearly and communicate technical concepts to lay audiences.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The salary grade for this position is as follows:

Undergraduate level student or recent graduate : $22.00 per hour.

Graduate level student or recent graduate: $26.00 per hour.

PhD level student or recent graduate: $30.00 per hour

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills, and internal equity and alignment with market data.
