    As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide guidance to the team in analyzing customer requests and determining solutions to solve business needs, lead the creation and implementation of applications and BI tools to explore and understand data, and collaborate with the team to produce insights and solutions.

    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

    The SF Operational Risk - Business Intelligence - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Lead a team in the identification and analysis of customer needs, and strive to do what's right for our customers.
    • Lead team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) applications and tools.
    • Guide team in the creation and implementation of automated business processes and mechanisms to generate meaningful reports to help us deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose.
    • Analyze data to drive business decision-making capabilities.
    • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, including developing requirements for new features and enhancements.

    Qualifications

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experiences

    • 4 years

    Desired Experiences

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
    • 5 years' experience in leading and developing a team of Senior Business Intelligence Associates
    • 5 years' experience in leading agile teams within a lean management environment focused on continuous improvement
    • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
      Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or Data Analytics Certification preferred

    Skills

    • Ability to analyze and solve business problems at their root, while stepping back to understand the broader context.
    • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
    • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
    • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
    • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives

    Tools

    • Experience using RiskWorks
    • Skilled in SQL
    • Skilled in TOAD SQL database management tool
    • Skilled in Power BI
    • Experience using SharePoint
    • Skilled in Tableau
    • Skilled in Excel
    • Experience using Fusion Risk Management
    • Skilled in Microsoft Teams
