    We have one opening for this position and it can be worked on a Flexible Hybrid basis from our Washington, DC or Reston, VA office.

    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

    The Risk Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Prepare analyses and reports used to evaluate the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.
    • Build and maintain relationships with business partners at the VP, Director, Manager and staff levels. Provide advice and share knowledge with business partner VPs, Directors and Managers to strengthen governance, risk and control environments, as appropriate.
    • Conduct RCSA/Risk Assessment Execution for processes within HR including process mapping/walkthroughs, identification of risks and controls gaps and improvement opportunities.
    • Partner with HR business partners on issue management, track results of issues opening, remediation, and closure and facilitate appropriate corrective actions.
    • Review business strategies and make decisions that will drive success and limit operational risk in the face of shifting consumer behaviors and regulations.

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experiences


    • 2 years related experience.
    • Risk assessment and management experience including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, and remediating risk.
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize data and draft narratives and reports that provide useful analysis for leadership. Experience in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or Power BI.
    • Relationship management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and building relationship networks.
    • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Demonstrated executive writing skills and ability to produce executive-ready work products.
    • Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to influence without defined authority.
    • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
    • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.

    Desired Experiences

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • 4 or more years of risk oversight and/or risk management experience.
    • Prior experience using Archer (or an eGRC platform) to document Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and manage Issues, control gaps or Operational Risk Events (OREs).
    • Experience supporting HR functional areas is a plus.
