Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to overseeing customer network development and customer support activities, as well as supporting customer engagement opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, directing, or coordinating operational activities for the team with the help of executives and staff managers.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Multifamily Affordable Housing Customer Engagement Senior Associate (Flexible Hybrid)) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Review and analyze multifamily transactions with supervision.
- Support the Director and other team members in managing deal screenings and underwriting responsibilities.
- Identify executives, managers, and team members to support customer relationships.
- Participate in the approval process of investments and assist in closing the transactions.
- Maintain database, prepare reports, and provide analyses on investment pipeline and closings to date.
- Maintain customer relationships across business units and/or customer accounts, and strive to do what's right for our customers.
- Identify executives, managers, and team members to support customer relationships.
- Promote and sell Fannie Mae's products and services to make sure people across the country have access to affordable financing opportunities.
- Provide support for operational activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and recommendations for teams across the organization.

Minimum Required Experiences
- 2 years of related experience
Skills
- Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
- Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
- Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
- Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
- Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
- Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Tools
- Skilled in Excel
- Experience using Salesforce CRM
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Advanced experience with MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of, or working experience with, Multifamily real estate
- Effective written and oral communication skills to express complex ideas to colleagues and stakeholders
- Requires a self-motivated, team player who has strong work ethic, demonstrates attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
- Advanced experience with MS Office Suite
- Experience preparing analysis of and managing the the processing of multifamily debt transactions in a lending context
- Some knowledge of multifamily affordable housing subsidy types, structures and programs (preferred experience/skills)
