Job Description
As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise the team on methods, models, and analytical templates used for assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success, as well as work with management and team members in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders across the enterprise, and understand business objectives.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The MF Risk - Risk Management - Compliance Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Advise team on compliance risks such as Fair Lending, UDAP & Privacy in partnership with the Enterprise compliance risk teams using methods, models, and analytical templates to determine areas that pose potential risks to the enterprise.
- Collaborate with team to evaluate and advise on the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.
- Review processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.
- Partner with team to review and provide feedback to management on resolutions and control guidelines.
- Partner with the team to review, develop business strategies, and make decisions that will drive success in the face of shifting consumer behaviors and regulations.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 6 years relevant focused compliance risk discipline, such as fair lending, fair housing, and UDAP/UDAAP
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Compliance knowledge & expertise: Fair Lending / Fair Housing / UDAAP/UDAP
- Governance and Compliance including creating policies, evaluating compliance, conducting internal investigations (risk assessment, gap analysis, issue management) developing data governance, etc.
- Analytical/Problem solving - Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes
- Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, etc.
- Effective communication (verbal & written with Sr Leadership, regulatory bodies, internal audit, and the ability to explain the complex regulations & how they apply to the business stakeholders and their processes)
Skills
- Proven ability to identify barriers to results and provide solutions, thinking creatively and critically throughout this process.
- Experience preparing reports and documentation summarizing test results and findings with attention to detail.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to colleagues, senior management and regulators and address questions.
- Ability to complete projects/tests efficiently and excellent time management skills.
- Experience in identification and escalation of compliance issues.
- Relationship management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders and building relationship networks.
- Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, and remediating risk.
- Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
- Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
