In this role, you will make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities, as well as coordinate with other teams to ensure support of the portfolios.

    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
    The Enterprise Planning - Portfolio Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Support Portfolio planning and engage with key stakeholders across business, technology, finance, strategy, and other supporting groups, with goal of driving achievement of key deliveries in support of Fannie Mae's Strategic Plan.
    • Engage with stakeholders, to support administration of Portfolio & Program Management Policy and Standard for the Enterprise.
    • Provide analysis of data and information gathered for reports to be presented to internal and/or external stakeholders.
    • Support monitoring of lean governance compliance
    • Provide ad hoc support for the Enterprise Initiative Services team as needed

    Qualifications

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experiences:

    • At least 2 years of relevant experience
    • Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

    Desired Experiences:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
    • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical question
    • Relationship Management experience including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, etc.
    • Business insights experience and skills including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
    • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
    • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
    • Influencing experience and skill including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict

    Tools:

    • Skilled in Powerpoint
    • Skilled in Excel
    • Experience using Microsoft Power Suite
    • Experience using JIRA
    • Experience using SharePoint
    • Skilled in Microsoft Teams
