THE POSITION

We're looking for a high experienced and talented Product Design Senior Manager to join our UX & Design team in New York City, working on our gaming products. You will play a pivotal role a design leader in shaping the direction and quality of user experiences across FanDuel Casino.

You will be accountable for ensuring the product meets both user and business needs to the highest standards. Working closely with Product, Marketing, commercial and Engineering to drive the product forward in new and innovative ways and ultimately be a key player in bringing future visions to life.

What we're looking for in our next teammate
You'll be part of the team that owns, enhances, and evolves FanDuel Casino. Specifically focusing on the in game & lobby works steam that primarily enhances the quality of games discovery, gameplay features and quality of life for our users. You will be accountable for ensuring the product meets both user and business needs to the highest standards. Working closely with Product, Marketing, commercial and Engineering to drive the product forward in new and innovative ways through games discovery & gameplay.
You'll join and support a fast-growing UX & Design team, working on innovative new features and building upon the existing experiences that our customers love, maintaining our best-in-class status.
- Owns large, highly strategic projects, as well as helping with more detailed UX and UI design when necessary or where setting direction.
- Supervises the activities of the team members in the dedicated in game & Lobby work stream.
- Works closely with other work stream leads across multiple disciplines to align on consistency of patterns and processes across all focus areas.
- Manages a medium/large team on an organizational, tactical, and developmental level.
- Leads team projects and goals with high scope and/or ambiguity.
- Provides collaborative and cross functional leadership to peers. Key facilitator in ensuring that projects are delivered, and outcomes are measured.
- Responsible for the overall success of their team and shares some responsibility for quality with Leads or Principals.
- Uses facilitation skills to engage cross-functional teams.
- Explores new practices and contributes to defining team practices. Starts to improve processes, structures and governance.
- Leads and facilitates stream/vertical meetings. Contributes to any level of meeting. Attends appropriate team leadership meetings.
- Helps promote UX & Design at FanDuel externally. Participates in all stages of hiring process.
- Provides coaching in behavioral skills and people management. Gives quality, timely, objective based feedback. Coaches team members in technical and behavioral skills. May coach new Managers in people management.
What you'll bring
You'll have previous experience as a manager and have a proven track record of providing value to the business and demonstrate UX & Design skills.You'll have contributed and led multiple shipped projects on several products and be able to demonstrate the necessary technical skills and behaviors. You understand the best practices of hiring and have a solid foundation of a professional network.
- Has led the delivery of work at the scope of a whole product. Has managed a team of 3-5 people on a tactical level.
- Has training in managing reports' development.
- Skilled in all areas of their discipline ranging from a proven practical design & UX to a high level of managerial responsibilities.\
- Consistently committed to adherence and investment in quality, operations, and customer intelligence.
- Works in a close partnership with product, engineering, and delivery leaders.

The applicable salary range for this position is $142,000 - $190,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
