THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
FanDuel is looking for a Customer Strategy, Director to drive our customer retention and marketing innovation. You will play a key role on the Customer Marketing team with full ownership over early-life and transitional lifecycle strategy while also driving lifecycle innovation across the org, collaborating with multiple departments within the company including but not limited to Promotions, Brand, Commercial, Data Science, Product, and MarTech. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Lead the multiple teams in optimizing our programs, looking for opportunities to ideate and test on innovative CRM programs to increase retention, player value and wallet share
- Set the strategic direction of a wide array of lifecycles, using data driven insights and a strong understanding of key business priorities
- Oversee behavioral and triggered campaigns strategy, working with analytics, operations and creative stakeholders, from ideation to execution to evaluation across owned and paid channels
- Drive a test & learn approach: prioritize our testing backlog and collaborate with experimentation and analytical stakeholders in the systematic creation and management of testing plans, and ensure results are implemented & iterated on
- Cultivate extensive knowledge of our data architecture and segmentation strategy to deliver a pathway for continuous improvement
- Develop strong reporting practices on performance metrics and campaign effectiveness within the team
- Drive collaboration with key stakeholders and maintain a continuous feedback loop. Serve as a subject-matter expert, advising business stakeholders on best practices, including marketing and channel strategy
- Champion step-changes in personalizing journeys at scale
- Optimize our programs, look for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, define channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
- Deliver strong leadership and a healthy team culture by mentoring and managing other people leaders
- Recruit and identify top talent while creating an inspiring environment for all team members to learn and grow
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum 6 years' experience in marketing, commercial or strategy roles
- Minimum 3 years managing/mentoring experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of marketing and commercial metrics
- Comfortable with querying and logic
- Strong design thinking skills and effective at project management
- An avid sports and gaming fan, and have played FanDuel or competitive products
- Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
- Willing to work some non-traditional hours

The applicable salary range for this position is $144,000 - $180,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
