The Commercial Senior Analyst, Generosity Experimentation will play a pivotal role in growing an experimentation function within the Sportsbook Commercial team. This role will help to accelerate the scalability and sophistication of best-in-class experimentation practice while maintaining standardization of processes across teams. The Senior Analyst will partner with acquisition and retention marketing stakeholders and will be responsible for designing and analyzing experiments that help to answer key questions and drive promotional strategy. In addition, the Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to be involved in key strategic initiatives that support FanDuel's overall growth.

THE GAME PLAN

• Partner with commercial marketing teams to oversee testing related to personalization efforts, including audience optimization, generosity mechanics and generosity delivery
• Continue the advancement of a cross-functional experimentation program
• Be a thought leader in identifying and evaluating tools and capabilities to advance our practice, including opportunities for automation.
• Introduce advanced statistical techniques to support data analysis and insight generation.
• Drive culture of experimentation throughout the Sportsbook business through initiatives to educate organization on experimentation best practices.
• Increase team's understanding of key commercial success metrics as they relate to acquisition and retention. Use that knowledge to design hypotheses in partnership with stakeholders.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• 3+ years of experience in an analytical role such as marketing / business analytics, data science, research
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering) is preferred
• Master's degree a plus
• Experience with various testing techniques (A/B/n, multi-variate, matched market, synthetic control) including relevant statistics topics. Experience with analysis or experimentation of personalization efforts, a plus.
• Advanced SQL skills required. Experience with statistical programming tools such as Python, R or SAS preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to work through ambiguity and deliver solutions to business problems.
• Collaborates: is a team player - works with various teams across the organization to understand their needs and get things done.
• Commercial acumen: understanding of P&L, business principles and commercial levers
• Presents clearly and with impact to a wide range of stakeholders and keeps stakeholders updated with relevant and timely information
• A "can-do" attitude and the type of person who constantly looks for solutions and better ways of operating

The applicable salary range for this position is $92,000 - $126,500 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
