Under the leadership of the Director of Hydronics and Water Heating, take a lead role in developing sales and support of the hydronic offering of Famous Supply by; actively participating in contractor sales, training, job site visits, quotations, and identification of hydronic customers and targets. The Hydronic Product Specialist will be part of the marketing and product recommendations and will provide technical sales support in system design, layout, troubleshooting, and supporting branch questions towards hydronics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in hydronic market development through customer identification, sales support, customer training and development, and sales team development
  • Support Sales team and customers in system design, application, proposal generation, and presentations
  • Field Technical sales support by site walk-through, system analysis, application analysis, performance recommendations to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Train branch personnel within assigned territory
  • Make recommendations for effective branch inventory, stock levels, new product offerings, consolidation opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of various hydronic systems, components, and control systems
  • Solid Computer skills. A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and work with Outlook, Excel, Eclipse operating system, Radiant Design software.
  • Good presentation skills for group training and sales support. Must be a team player and have above-average communication skills.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting hydronic applications

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, creativity, leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous improvement are important for this position. Occasional overnight travel required.

Education and/or Experience

  • Requires successful completion of an approved HVAC/R vocational curriculum and at least 3 years in the industry. The successful candidate must also have a track record of creating partnerships with internal and external customers.
