Experis IT is partnered with the worlds leading provider of secure financial messaging services in their search for a Test Engineer with Ansible, Python, RHEL/Linux, and Test Automation  to join their team in Manassas, VA.

This is a long term contract, hybrid role that will require an on site interview and work on site day one (no exceptions).

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Develop and complete automated tests to ensure the highest level of software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure seamless integration with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to determine root causes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various projects.
• Report directly to the QA Manager, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.

WE ARE SEEKING PROFESSIONALS WITH:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or a related role.
• Proven expertise in Python scripting and automation tools.
• Experience with Linux, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced certifications in software testing or related fields.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
