Our client, a leader in healthcare manufacturing, is seeking a Sr. Controls/Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Controls/Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Devices focus factory supporting innovative production initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Controls/Automation Engineer
Location: Cleveland, MS (Onsite)
What's the Job?
- Install, commission, and debug multiple new automated device assembly machines in cleanroom environments.
- Support equipment improvements within the change control process.
- Conduct validation and qualification activities for new assembly and ancillary equipment.
- Assist Project Manager with project planning, controls, and procurement tasks.
- Drive continuous improvement activities and provide technical support for new device production lines.

What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Computer degrees preferred).
- 2+ years of programming/troubleshooting experience with automation controls and systems.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs & HMIs is required.
- 2+ years of Engineering/Manufacturing experience, preferably in FDA manufacturing.
- Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.) and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
