Our client, a leading contract pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. As a Quality Manager, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting product excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
What's the Job?
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality systems to ensure that products consistently meet or exceed company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant industry regulations, and coordinate with external regulatory agencies for audits, inspections, and certifications.
- Lead efforts to validate and improve processes, procedures, and product quality to ensure consistent performance.
- Manage and develop a team of quality professionals, fostering a collaborative and continuous improvement-driven environment.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions to maintain product integrity.

What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in quality management, process improvement, or regulatory compliance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Familiarity with industry regulations (such as FDA, GMP, ISO) and experience ensuring compliance across various functions.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive change and improve processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with various teams to maintain high-quality standards.
