Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Controls and Automation Focused Improvement Engineer to join their team. As a Controls and Automation Focused Improvement Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Excellence department supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing factory automation and cyber security. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen analytical mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects by advancing digital and automation capabilities.
  • Plan and execute focused improvement and capital investment projects within the Controls and Automation scope.
  • Oversee site digital transformation efforts, including the implementation of 4IR technologies and the creation of digital data dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate cyber security initiatives.
  • Develop and implement projects that advance Digital Factory initiatives, including training factory operations teams to utilize digital tools effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, and Office.
  • Experience in network management or IT administration.
  • Project management skills to deliver cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in PLC troubleshooting, programming, and diagnostics.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
