Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Duration: 4 Months with possibility to extend/convert
Day Shift: 12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)

What's the Job?

• Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description.
• Support electrical infrastructures throughout the datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones.
• Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and conducting Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
• Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns and PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements.
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code and ensure compliance.

What's Needed?

• All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
• Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers or hospitals.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls).
• Able to work a flexible schedule which may include 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts.
