Description

What You'll Do:

  • Handle all related parties (intercompany & joint venture) transactions, accounting, confirmations and reconciliations regions covered ie. APAC, UK&I, EMEA, US &3Cs and LATAM.
  • Record intercompany journal entries to clear intercompany transactions with other intercompany entities and maintain intercompany accounts on monthly basis
  • Monitor Aging Intercompany accounts included Receivables, Payables, Recharges, Clearing and intercompany loan and handling issues related thereto
  • Accurate and detailed review of intercompany billings
  • Analyze intercompany balances with other intercompany entities and coordination of intercompany wire payments and intercompany settlements
  • Critical support for audit assignment by preparing audit confirmation letter and related party disclosure (RPT) etc
  • Internal support to multiple stakeholders - Group Reporting team, Tax & Transfer Pricing team in preparing annual intercompany transaction analysis.
  • Substantive testing in testing environment and communication to GPO for implementation for Oracle system upgrade and new system launch
  • Migration of newly task from Global region to achieve work centralisation in KL GFS.
  • Collaborate with internal and external functional module eg Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Cash Application team, Country Controllers, FBP etc.
  • Act as escalation point for any issues involving month end, quarter, year-end close.
  • Provides mentoring to team members, manage daily operation and month end close to ensure deadlines and deliverables are submitted, advising team on any matters arising from IC
  • Be a role model to instil a culture of knowledge sharing and working together, implementing clear metrics to measure success of the team
  • Support line manager in resource planning, recruitment and training, employee engagement and development, performance reviews and appraisals, and succession planning
  • Provide support to internal & external Audit process and in accordance to accounting standard


Qualifications

More About You:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
  • >3 - 5 years' relevant experience in intercompany
  • Team player, confident in working with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions (remote or on site) with excellent interpersonal skill to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Passionate mentor with patience and good coaching skills, with the ability to positively influence and lead the team to enhance to the next level
  • Have accounting & analytical skills, problem solving, attention to detail and is highly logical and numerate
