Role Summary

As a Senior Delivery Manager at Experian, you'll work in one of our business areas, gain exposure to our exciting work and help to develop a platform for the future. Purpose The Senior Delivery Manager manages and or leads a collection of related project engagements and BAU activities within the Portfolio they are assigned. Responsible for, but not limited to, the delivery plan, defining requirements, execution, resource management, quality, risk and issue management, communications, maintaining correct financial opex and capex balance to the BU and stakeholder management. Coordinates intra-business area dependencies and dependencies with projects outside of the business area. Ensures the achievement of strategic and business outcomes (financial and client satisfaction) as well as quality standards and practices. Delivery - Responsible for the delivery of products and services within the Business area to clients on time and on budget. May act in a Player/Manager capacity. Primary point of contact and escalation for their Business Areas operational matters Resource Management and Utilisation- Overall responsibility for a team, line manage ~10 FTE's, maintain a resource plan (capacity/demand) taking into account bandwidth, skill set, development needs and planned absences

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Role Model ownership and accountability and drive embedding these behaviours within the team. Display proactive leadership and management skills that ensure all resources are aware of their responsibilities to deliver high quality, on time and on budget. Provide the framework and support to the team to ensure the end to end delivery of products and services to agreed quality, schedule and cost, taking into consideration operational readiness to ensure a smooth handover to support. Drive yourself and the team to find better ways, increasing productivity and providing the same for less. Develop and maintain strong, influential working relationships with the business counterpart(s), being recognised as the primary point of contact for the delivery of agreed projects within the Business Unit. Demonstrate awareness of the business development pipeline and overall business strategy within the area. Provide accurate information through to finance to enable reporting on progress on CAPEX and OPEX projects. Display an informed, proactive and positive demeanour that maintains focus on the needs of all stakeholders. Ensure all deliveries within the area are managed to PMO and locally defined standards ensuring all reporting is delivered succinctly and timely. Ensure the relevant controls are in place to capture dependencies, risks and issues, with appropriate escalation paths where required. Ensure the appropriate processes are in place to keep all interested stakeholders updated and satisfied. Accountable for the delivery of all mandated reporting to the documented standards of accuracy, format and regularity. Ensure that resources within the Business Unit are allocated and managed according to agreed budget (Core) or approved outside of budget (Incremental) requirements. Use strong business relationships to ensure a shared understanding of clear priorities of work within the business unit to enable the most effective utilisation of resource that maximizes customer service levels, minimizes lead times, and optimizes throughput. Facilitate and drive performance management processes Champion a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business. Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers. Through the adoption of a top down approach, demonstrate a culture where all of our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer's means to them and our organisation.
