Description

Role Summary:

Cash application is part of the account receivables process that involves recognition of incoming customer payments and allocating them to the correct customer accounts and receivable invoices. You will report into the Cash Application Team Lead.

  • Drive the delivery of cash receipting performance measures
  • Be the 1st line of defense in ensuring cash application processes are operating within the control framework and also ensuring all audit and compliance requirements are followed
  • Perform receipt postings and apply cash receipts in accordance to the standard operation procedure
  • Perform regular reviews on cash receipts posting to ensure receipts posting accuracy
  • Identify credit card payments and reconcile them against bank statement before receipt posting
  • Review to reduce unknown and unapplied receipt open items in the receivables ledger
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders in ensuring internal and external queries are being addressed promptly
  • Perform receipt adjustments
  • Perform refund processing and follow-up on refund rejection requests due to incorrect bank details
  • Provide support on implementation of project migration, process enhancement/improvement, and any other global initiatives


Qualifications

More About You:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree or a professional degree (Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent)
  • Open for recent Graduates or
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedure
  • Language Capabilities: Fluent in both speaking and writing in English as the role required to support Asia Pacific countries
