Job description

You will design, operate, engineer, automate, and manage Crypto infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, COTS appliances, and HSMs, focusing on global key management, data, and database security.

  • You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Manager Data Protection
  • This is individual contributor (Non-Managerial) role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, automate, and manage Encryption and Key Management (EKM) and PKI infrastructure
  • Experience with technologies like Thales, Gemalto, SafeNet, Oracle MSSQL TDE, Thales CipherTrust Manager, Thales Vormetric, Oracle Key Vault, PKI
  • Work with management, engineers, architects, partners, and vendors
  • Collaborate with vendors to align their technology roadmap with our needs
  • Perform hands-on tasks: application setup, configuration, infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and escalation support
  • Participate in off-hours, on-call support on a rotational basis


Qualifications

• 5+ years in Information Security Engineering or equivalent

• 4+ years in IT applications and systems

• 4+ years in Unix/Linux Systems Administration (troubleshooting, OS hardening, tuning)

• 2+ years with databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Teradata)

• 2+ years with encryption technologies

• 4+ years with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell)

• Knowledge of cryptography and key management, and Data Security solutions

• Advanced scripting for automation, log rotation, data/error collection, alerting

• Knowledge of encryption infrastructure servers/appliances

• Experience with infrastructure upgrades, security patches, version upgrades

• Ability to design/develop automated solutions

• Experience with digital certificate management

• Knowledge of file encryption, encryption key management, and security policies

• Familiarity with Splunk

CI/CD pipeline experience is good to have
