Controls Implementation Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions

Reporting to the Senior Controls Implementation Manager you will help develop the future state controls organisation for Experian.

What you'll do:

  • Design enterprise-wide control processes for M&A activities to reduce risk.
  • Lead the implementation of M&A control processes.
  • Report on M&A controls implementation progress.
  • Ensure sustainability and effectiveness of controls in assigned regions.
  • Collaborate with departments to support control understanding and documentation.
  • Develop critical control goals and business implementation plans.
  • Implement risk and control improvement plans with leaders.
  • Coach policy owners and teams on controls best practices.
  • Promote operational risk and control improvement plans.
  • Analyze and address gaps in existing risk controls.
  • Identify main trends and develop insightful analyses and recommendations.

Experience and Skills

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in a risk management, controls or audit role with at least 2-3 years of that time working in transformational projects or framework implementations.
  • Experience in Tier-1/2 consulting or technology companies is a plus.
  • Expertise in transformation, risk and controls management, and controls implementation.
  • Beneficial: Experience in M&A activities, continuous improvement, and change management.
  • Understanding of best practice risk and control frameworks; RSA ARCHER experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and time zones.
  • Problem-solving skills with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for senior audiences.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior executives.
