Associate Consultant - Demand & Vendor Management

Job description

  • You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to your senior.
  • This is individual contributor (Non-Managerial) role
  1. Be a single contact for IT partners to ensure that IT demand is executed in most efficient manner and provide a consistent single contact from business case through termination, including ongoing vendor governance
  2. Collect, aggregate, and validate demand for assigned IT products and services
  3. Partner with Procurement to conduct deal evaluations of new/renewed arrangements with third parties, this includes demand management, vendor selection, RFP (where appropriate), and contract negotiation
  4. Manage internal client relationship by clearly understanding their book of work, and attain a trusted advisor status for commercial activities
  5. Develop and maintain demand pipeline, which includes new spend and existing commitments Work closely with Procurement, Architectures, Finance Business Partners, and SAMs (Software Asset Management) to understand impact of vendor strategy

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Jr level full time experience or few Internship work experiences from large, international companies and have dealt with or worked for global service providers and/multi-time zone environments
  • Some experience integrating data from multiple sources and building dashboards using Tableau, SharePoint, Excel or other methods
  • Technical knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies and willingness to lean new technologies and apply learning to improve assigned projects
