We are seeking a talented Senior Go Developer to join our welcoming team of experts. As a Senior Backend Developer in our team, you will contribute directly to our user’s experiences. You will write, test, and maintain usable code across the stack and will be able to translate high-level requirements into complex systems using sync and async processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working as a Golang Engineer
  • Interest in building products with performance, accessibility, and scalability in mind
  • Passion for engineering, solving hard problems, and understanding things in depth
  • Attention to details

Nice to Have

  • Typescript
  • Cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) and Real-Time data processing
  • Databases (postgres, nosql, key-value stores)
  • React Native / Mobile Development

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with our CTO and engineers to write, maintain, and test code
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, flows, and experiences
  • Executing all software development stages from concept through research to final deployment to production
  • Conceptualizing original ideas that bring improvements to complex roadblocks
  • Presenting and defending ideas and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders
  • Working on full-stack projects ranging from low-level network problems to complex performance tweaks to designing architectures from scratch
