About the project

The main goal of the project is to create software that satisfies the needs of insurance partners and identifies potentially fraudulent behavior by members of their ecosystem. The system interfaces with data sources, both externally as well as across the ecosystem, to facilitate the detection of data anomalies. The system operates under a full CD lifecycle, with fully automated testing and deployments to production on an as-needed basis.
Project Tech Stack
Java 21+, React, Node.js, AWS, Containerization (Docker& Kubernetes), Spring Boot, No SQL (Dynamo DB), PostgreSQL, Async Messaging (Kafka /Active MQ), Data pipeline (Lambda/ AWS Firehose), Nginx, Apigee, Okta.
Requirements
- Experience in front-end software development and debugging experience in JavaScript (React)
- Background working with Java-based applications
- Competency in UI Test Automation
- Demonstrated capacity to debug and resolve user interface issues
- Strong understanding of industry-standard development frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, continuous deployment, and optimizing the full SDLC
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Practice in Web security and governance
- Expertise in the cloud-hosted SAAS (Software as a Service) industry
- Skills in Agile/Scrum practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
English level
Upper-Intermediate+
Nice to Have
- Development background in Java, C++, or other high-level languages
- Grounding in Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Redux toolkit, Tanstack, etc.
- Development experience in Junit, TestNG, Playwright, and other test automation frameworks
- Skills in AWS or Azure, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Docker, etc.
Responsibilities
- Design, architecture, and implementation of user interfaces and test automation to facilitate the workflow of claims with risks of fraudulent behavior
- Work as an individual developer to develop and enhance user interfaces, microservices, and data management between UI components and microservices and test automation for each
- Review product requirements in close collaboration with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Author and review designs, architectures, and process documentation and demonstrate implementations with all key stakeholders
- Become a subject matter expert, understanding business use cases and feature implementation
- Contribute to load, performance, service reliability, and stress validation
- Contribute creative ideas to evolve our agile-based development methodologies
- Contribute to code reviews, improve development frameworks, CI/CD, monitoring and logging, identifying code coverage gaps, and other SDLC process components
