Position Overview
The Market Access Summer Intern will primarily support the Gap Closure Program Execution team as it processes gap closure programs for our payer and health system customers. This position will work closely with both the Gap Closure Operations team and internal business partners within the commercial organization.
This role will be based in Madison, WI.

Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the Gap Closure Operations team with the execution of gap closure program deliverables.
- Interact with commercial business partners to answer questions or fulfill requests related to the gap closure program.
- Lead special projects for process and/or program improvement.
- Exercise strong attention to detail and thoroughness in accomplishing tasks.
- Strong proof-reading skills to ensure error free communications.
- Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new assignments as they are identified.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Ability to work a designated schedule.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
- Ability and means to travel 5% between local Exact Sciences locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program
- Experience and proficiency with Mircrosoft Excel.
- Excellent computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as: Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Salary Range:
$34,000.00 - $54,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
