Lead Analyst, Enterprise Analytics

The Lead Analyst, Enterprise Analytics will be a data-driven analytics leader, partnering with Enterprise BD in a client-facing role to translate our customers’ needs into KPIs and impactful analyses. This person will have exceptional attention to detail and deliver recommendations to stakeholders with excellent communication skills. This role will be responsible for analytical teardowns of partners’ campaign setups and generating bid curves based on auction data to analyze the largest drivers of value for our Enterprise partners. 

What you'll do:

  • Understand the fundamentals of EverQuote’s business and how our team contributes to that business
  • Identify the levers that influence our team’s KPIs and how they influence those KPIs
  • Leverage data to provide recommendations to stakeholders for campaign optimization
  • Generate bid curves for the Enterprise team given specific conditions
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization given the partner’s objectives
  • Partner with Enterprise Business Development account owners in client-facing meetings
  • Independently drive forward projects, diving in where necessary to make sure deliverables are met

Who you are:

  • 3-6 years previous experience in data analysis to solve problems and make decisions
  • Comfortable managing complex partnerships and business development in a technology heavy environment.
  • Proficiency using analytics tools (ex. Snowflake, SQL, Git, Tableau) and designing dashboards for reporting and analytics
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a ‘figure it out & get it done’ mentality
  • Creativity, competitiveness, and a desire to win opportunities from competitors
  • Onboard new partners to the platforms and provide analysis on how to better improve their overall campaign performance
  • Own and understand acquisition and distribution dynamics to maximize revenue and margin
  • Become self-sufficient using internal tools to access and manipulate data necessary for analysis and reporting
  • Monitor operational performance and build dashboards and alerts to quickly capture and investigate deviations in performance
  • Independently drive forward projects, diving in where necessary to make sure deliverables are met
  • Build relationships with relevant teams (Business Development, Analytics, Engineering) to facilitate completion of cross functional projects
