The Senior Manager, Content Marketing will lead the overall content strategy for one of EVERFI’s main business segments to directly impact revenue. The Senior Manager will develop an ongoing content calendar in partnership with Demand Generation and internal subject matter experts that will be used for brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. They will design winning pillar content and strategize repackaging tactics to create shareable pieces that Demand Generation and Customer Engagement marketers can leverage in campaigns. They will collaborate with marketing and revenue leaders, internal subject matter experts, and product marketing to deliver on quarterly and annual revenue targets, outstanding product launches, and compelling thought leadership.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the content marketing strategy for one or more business lines in accordance with company goals in order to drive demand and revenue
  • Conceptualize and create strategic pillar content to be used for lead generation in support of key messaging points and value propositions
  • Define content KPIs in partnership with Demand Generation, Customer Engagement and report results to marketing leadership
  • Champion customer pain points and industry trends to aid New Business and Customer Engagement marketers in achieving marketing sourced revenue targets
  • Produce high-quality content, including but not limited to white papers, blogs, webinars, eBooks, research reports in support of new business or customer engagement initiatives and revenue goals
  • Repackage and edit pillar content into channel appropriate pieces to drive inbound traffic, power outbound campaigns, and support revenue outreach in partnership with Demand Generation and Customer Engagement marketers
  • Partner with web development team to develop and maintain an effective onsite content library aligned to SEO best practices that increases organic traffic
  • Prepare metrics, monitor, and report success of campaigns and marketing strategies to internal stakeholders and push forward data driven decisions at a rigorous pace
  • Recommend new and innovative marketing tactics, partnerships, and technologies to exceed goals of the business segment
  • Partner with creative team to implement design best practices to create captivating content for both online and offline use
  • Research, onboard, and oversee external support to write, design, and power an ongoing content calendar
  • Develop ongoing maintenance and archival of existing content to optimize traffic and ensure brand, messaging consistency
  • Maintain and systematize consistent EVERFI brand standards and tone of voice across content pieces and channels
  • Design and build strategic assets to support programs, including but not limited to landing pages, emails, and graphics
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital marketing or content marketing experience
  • Expert in content development and distribution strategies to drive leads and conversions
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a focus on utilizing campaign performance reports to inform future marketing strategy  
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of various marketing channels
  • Exceptional time management and collaboration skills
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation software; Marketo and Salesforce preferred
  • Strong knowledge of content management system; WordPress preferred
  • Strong probing and reasoning skills to make relevant recommendations 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Demand generation experience in a SaaS environment preferred
  • Sales enablement experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
