The goal of the Marketing Automation Specialist is to help streamline and automate email marketing. This role will focus on combining data, marketing automation, and content to increase marketing campaign efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Create workflows, build audience lists, and segment databases to help set up marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Email Service Provider (Marketo)
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Email Marketing, production and execution of email programs through our marketing automation platform (Marketo)
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to develop effective messaging and creative content for campaigns
  • Partner with the digital media team to develop and deploy effective marketing landing pages
  • Develop reports and dashboards measuring performance and enabling stakeholders to understand performance of marketing emails and landing pages
  • Help execute strategy utilizing A/B Testing to improve performance of marketing emails, SMS messaging, and landing pages
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to improve marketing attribution and related reporting
  • Develop documentation around on the marketing systems, processes, and best practices
  • Closely partner with the marketing team to drive strategic growth through outbound activities
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance, including email and conversion metrics and down-funnel attribution
  • Provide recommendations based on Marketo data to improve engagement and conversions of future campaigns
  • Troubleshoot Marketo integration issues and assist in the integration of additional platforms
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of working in a marketing automation platform; Marketo experience is highly preferred, Salesforce is a plus
  • Minimum of one year of experience developing and optimizing marketing automation strategies
  • Highly analytical with ability to derive insights from data and make broader optimization recommendations to improve email performance
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with spreadsheets
  • Proven ability to handle multiple changing projects at one time with attention to detail and quality execution
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Google Tag manager/UTM codes is a plus
