As a software developer, you'll design and build next-gen ArcGIS for Server software for enterprise and cloud for millions of users worldwide. We are looking for professionals in several specific areas such as cloud services, Java EE, RESTful web services, and new and upcoming middleware and server-side technologies.

Responsibilities
- Build server-side Java components that power UX and scriptable administration of ArcGIS for Server
- Design and build REST interfaces for administration of ArcGIS for Server
- Design and build server-side components that seamlessly run on-premises and on cloud platforms
- Find, analyze, and fix bugs/performance problems whenever and wherever they occur
- Work collaboratively with other teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the software
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing middleware software components using core Java, Servlets, JSP, EJBs
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and services (such as Amazon S3, SQS, EC2, Azure Blob/Table Services)
- Proficient in Java design patterns and development using popular IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEA)
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and No-SQL databases (such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehouses (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift)
- Solid understanding of web services and GIT source control systems
- Strong problem-solving, design, development, debugging, communication, and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in math, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Familiarity with JSON and PBF
- Knowledge of and familiarity with Java build systems, such as Maven and ANT
- Experience with HTTP monitoring tools and JDK debugging tools

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$97,344 - $162,240 USD
