Overview
Interpret and contextualize business strategy for operational needs and help bridge gaps between strategy and execution. You will work collaboratively with business process analysts, technical architects, and other subject matter experts in various business functions across the company to define and assist with implementation of practical solutions. You will be responsible for developing specific artifacts such as business capability maps and value streams while helping to streamline and rationalize processes, tools, and technology.

Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of senior business architects, work with colleagues to elicit and understand business goals, strategies, and objectives
- Understand business capabilities that are required for the attainment of current and future business goals using structured business architecture approaches and methodologies
- Assist senior business architects in maturing our enterprise architecture
- Create and maintain artifacts including but not limited to capability models, value stream maps, business processes, and technology inventories
- Assist with assessments of current state maturity of business capabilities; develop and maintain current state heatmaps and roadmaps to close gaps and get to future state
- Assist in the development of practical, actionable recommendations and solutions clearly and concisely for non-technical audiences ensuring solutions meet business needs and enables strategies
- Anticipate emerging business and technology trends and partner with senior business architects and colleagues to recommend solutions and improvements
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in business and/or enterprise architecture
- Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
- Curiosity and desire to learn and utilize enterprise architecture frameworks, processes, methodologies, and tools
- Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions, visualize and create models that can be used to explain abstract concepts in simple terms, and mature the business architecture practice
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to translate information in simple and effective terms at all levels of the organization
- Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
- Bachelor's in a related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Previous experience as a solutions architect, business analyst (technology agnostic) and/or continuous process improvement specialist
- Proficiency and/or certifications in TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPM
- Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM and CSDM
- Master's in business or a related field

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$81,120 - $166,400 USD
