ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance - Level I in Fargo, North Dakota.
What you'll do:
Buena Vista is looking for a full time maintenance technician who wants to work for a company that makes yo feel like family. We provide a diverse experience in the maintenance department. Your job responsibilities will include working outdoors and indoors completing multiple job duties ranging from but not limited to maintenance duties,, plumbing, light carpentry/ construction, minor appliance repair, grounds keeping, snow removal, customer service , inspections, and more. You work as a team along with the manager and office staff to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by ELS.

Your job will include:
Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management, staff, vendors and you will work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
Maintain grounds and common areas keeping them free from trash and debris.
Report maintenance concerns directly to management and preform repairs as needed.
Mow, weed, edge and maintain common areas and vacant home sites.
We are looking for someone who has experience in operating a Bobcat, small equipment, pumps, pickup trucks, duump trailer, sander, snow plow and snow blowers.
Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
Perform other miscellaneous duties and assigned.
Normal hours are Monday - Friday with possibility of adjusted hours as needed or required.
On call and after hour emergency responsibilities.
Skills & experience you need:
High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
1-3 years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas, including plumbing, carpentry, snow plowing, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with small equipment
Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
Willing to be on call for emergencies thar arise after hours.
Self starter
Abel to work independently.
Good communication skills
Attention to detail and good organization skills.
Able to travel to other properties as needed.
