The Senior Manager, Facilities will help ensure that all studios consistently represent our brand through the most efficient use of resources. Assists the Sr. Director of Facilities with the management and day-to-day planning of repairs, maintenance, renovations, and ongoing operations of all company facilities, equipment, and building systems. This individual will be responsible for holding team members accountable for all company goals and initiatives.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the condition of our studios is a cornerstone of our success and rider experience by closely representing the SoulCycle brand
  • Oversee larger facilities-related projects for the organization
  • Acts as a point of contact for repair & maintenance requests at assigned locations
  • Coordinate and manage emergency, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, glass & carpentry in addition to any other needed facility-related items for assigned studios
  • Sets standards of work being completed for all studios
  • Conducts routine, detailed on-site walkthroughs of assigned locations to ensure the studio meets company and departmental standards as well as all safety guidelines
  • Routinely prepare and update work orders via the ServiceChannel platform
  • Identify, bid out, and manage capital projects once approved by the business
  • Available to supervise work during nights and weekends as needed, requested, or required
  • Manages relationships with shared service partners as business requires
  • Manages scope and determines prioritization of refreshes projects as business allows
  • Manage annual repair and maintenance budgets for each location and individual project budgets to ensure compliance and spending diligence.
  • On-call 24/7 for the support and coordination of any emergency repair
  • Communicate with field management daily to obtain input and recommendations to meet and exceed operational standards
  • Organize and conduct routine reporting on all initiatives
  • Expected to operate with a sense of urgency
  • Hold teams accountable for work being completed on time and within budget
  • Schedule and manage quarterly business reviews for all vendors
  • Responsible for researching and maintaining partnerships with vendors that operate at the highest level of their competitive market
  • Conceptualize and execute ways for teams to communicate and work efficiently with tools or partnerships
  • Assess and determine preventative maintenance schedules as assets required
  • Build and maintain asset management to increase transparency for business
  • Delegate workload to maximize the efficiency of the Facilities team

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience communicating externally (vendors) & internally (stakeholders)
  • Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word; proficiency with Google Suite collaboration tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to multi-task
  • Second-to-none attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge of ongoing projects
  • Working knowledge of all
  • Ability to travel as required

Pay Transparency: $72K - $82k
