Job Summary
Ensures that business has the right talent acquired to meet its business strategy and objectives. Ensures staffing needs are met and hiring manager and candidates enjoy an experience that represents the Magic of Equinix. Leverages tool & systems to drive efficiency, reduce costs and improve the experience across the entire talent acquisition process including job posting, sourcing, partnership with contract recruiters and agencies, interviewing, offer negotiations and on-boarding. Partners and consults with hiring teams at every step. Administers talent programs such as employee referral programs, social media efforts, etc. Manages the applicant tracking system. Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting process. Partner on Workforce plan and affirmative action plans as applicable.
Responsibilities
Sourcing and Pipelining
- Assists in coordinating social process under direction of more senior members.
- Builds knowledge of key requirements and develops sourcing strategies to ensure strong candidate flow
- May assist recruiter with screening candidates
Facilitation of Interview Process
- Partners with hiring manager to identify key roles and responsibilities of the interview team
- Ensures hiring manager and interview team are prepared for the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally
- Facilitates the debriefing process towards a recommendation
- Sets expectations and consults with hiring managers regarding the recruiting process and responsibilities
- Responsible for writing & composition of role descriptions, kick off meetings, sourcing strategy, execution of sourcing, interviewing, offer, offer construction, extension, hand off to HR Business Partner
Consulting
- Consults and offers guidance to hiring managers on the 7-Step Hiring Process to ensure an efficient, accurate and high touch candidate recruiting and onboarding experience
- Focuses consulting with hiring managers at VP level or below
- Partners with HR Director, HR Business Partners on role grading, internal talent, shortlist candidates, coaching opportunities
Facilitating Offer and Start
- Consults and offers guidance to hiring managers on the 7-Step Hiring Process to ensure an efficient, accurate and high touch candidate recruiting and onboarding experience
- Focuses consulting with hiring managers at VP level or below
- Partners with HR Director, HR Business Partners on role grading, internal talent, shortlist candidates, coaching opportunities
Resource Management and Analytics
- Provides regular, relevant reporting on resourcing statistics and benchmark progress
- Manages towards a 80% Direct Hiring / 20% agency mix on permanent hiring
Qualifications
- Proven years experience preferred
- Bachelor's preferred
