Job Summary

Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team.

Responsibilities

Management

  • Provides immediate supervision to semi-skilled support team members. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team
  • Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and training

Project / Infrastructure Site Management

  • Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers
  • Executes specified routine tasks. Meets unit targets typically against a weekly plan
  • Provides input and guidance towards budget
  • Overall site capacity supervision

Vendor Management

  • Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards

Testing

  • Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems

Incident Management

  • Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Gestion des projets et des infrastructures

  • Planifie, coordonne, budgétise et met en œuvre les ressources pour mener à bien les projets et la maintenance au sein des centres de données
  • Exécute les tâches de routine exigées. S'assure que les unités atteignent leurs cibles selon un plan hebdomadaire
  • Fournit des commentaires et des conseils au sujet des budgets
  • Gère la capacité de tout le site

Gestion des fournisseurs

  • Supervise le travail des entrepreneurs et veille à ce que les normes requises par Equinix soient respectées

Tests

  • Apporte son aide dans le cadre de tests de démarrage et de la description et du signalement de tout problème

Gestion des incidents

  • Communique et effectue la coordination dans le cadre d'activités sur place lors d'un incident

Qualités requises
