Job Summary
Manages and leads the team Is responsible for company wide programs. Is responsible for planning standards reviews
Responsibilities
People Management
- Provides management and leadership across the team to ensure the team's growth is in alignment with business needs. Sets goals for immediate team members
Planning
- Ensures planning standards reviewed and improved at regular intervals
- Anticipates areas for continuous improvement and lessons learned and leads the team on closing gaps
- Is responsible for strategy of department and growth plans
Stakeholder Management
- Where required will advise the team on stakeholder management
- Seeks opportunities to build effective stakeholder relationships on behalf of the team
- Encourages feedback and develops stakeholder knowledge of function and manages expectations
Communications
- Is responsible for a team who has multiple and broad communication responsibilities
- Challenges the team and others on finding a balance between effective communications whilst pragmatic with volume, frequency and/or content
Risk Management
- Is the highest level escalation point within the team for complex issues
- Challenges the team to ensure lateral thinking and information is fully analyzed to achieve resolution
- May refer and escalate outside of the immediate team where necessary
Project/Program Delivery
- Leads the team Is responsible for delivery of company wide strategic programs
Resource Management (people, finances etc.)
- Ensures KPI's are in place for the team which are appropriate for the needs of the function and its stakeholders
- Accountable for resource planning (people, finances etc.) across the team
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
