Job Summary
As a Level 5 Critical Facility Engineer, you will perform specialized preventative and corrective maintenance on critical facility systems. You will coordinate with vendors, support the team during incidents, and carry out infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance
- Performs specialized maintenance on critical facility components.
- Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves specialized issues.
- Operates and maintains plumbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systems.
- Implements energy efficiency measures.
Vendor Support
- Coordinates and directs vendors on skilled tasks.
- Assists with the creation and submission of maintenance scripts.
Site Administration & Incident Support
- Performs specialized site logs and data gathering for permits.
- Responds to all on-site incidents and performs RCA.
Work Orders & Additional Projects
- Completes skilled work requests and circuit installations.
- Supports life cycle maintenance and infrastructure projects.
Collaboration
- Collaborates with others to resolve facility incidents.
- Mentors team members on skilled maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in critical facility maintenance.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with standards.
- Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
- A degree or apprenticeship in Electrical or mechanical infrastructure Management, Electrician, Engineering or Building Infrastructure maintenance technician
- Willingness to work 24/7 shifts
