Senior Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer (Mech)/ 데이터센터 기계 설비 선임 엔지니어
The Senior Critical Facilities Engineer (Mechanical) in the Korea Hyperscale SL2x team is a highly skilled specialist who covers Facility Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Vendor Management, and Collaboration. The focus is to identify process and operational gaps for SL2x and apply expertise to develop solutions while developing to the development of new concepts and techniques for standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.
Responsibilities
Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance
- Conducts site inspections and monitors building and Data Center alarms
- Performs preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g., maintenance of primary infrastructures) or handles vendors
- Undertakes repairs and corrective maintenance
- Assists the Team Lead in coordinating critical infrastructure
Continuous Improvement
- Drafts optimal Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOP)
- Reviews MOPs as the need arises to ensure efficient performance
- Drives and leads enhancement projects
Site Administration
- Completes site logs and gains data for permits, such as MOPs and scripts
Incident Management
- Responds to all on-site incidents and takes vital actions
- Provides instructions to on-site staff during simple incidents
Vendor Management
- Maintains and builds positive relationships with vendors
- Coordinates with vendors to ensure maintenance activities are carried out according to standards and in a timely manner
Collaboration
- Effectively collaborates with internal and external departments
- Provides mentorship and support to team members in addressing sophisticated technical issues
Qualifications
- Typically requires 10+ years of proven experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
