Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic Automation Team within the Infrastructure Managed Services organization. This role is critical in leveraging data to enhance automation strategies, optimize processes, and deliver actionable insights that drive operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, experience working in automation or infrastructure environments, and a proven track record of delivering impactful insights through data visualization, reporting, and advanced analytics. Exceptional fluency in English is a must, as this role requires clear communication with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support automation initiatives
  • Build predictive and prescriptive models to inform decision-making and optimize workflows in managed services
  • Develop data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery

Collaboration with Automation Teams

  • Partner with automation architects, engineers, and product managers to identify data requirements for AI/automation projects
  • Provide data insights to inform automation strategy, including process selection and performance tracking
  • Assist in the design and testing of data pipelines and workflows to support automation use cases

Reporting and Visualization

  • Design and deliver intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Big Query, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Track and report KPIs and metrics for automation initiatives, providing actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring insights are clear and impactful

Data Governance and Quality

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used in analysis and reporting
  • Establish data validation processes to maintain high-quality datasets for automation projects
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data accessibility and integrity

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest trends in data analytics, machine learning, and automation technologies
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing analytical processes and propose innovative solutions
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a data-driven culture within the organization

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 5 years supporting automation, AI, or IT infrastructure teams
  • Proven track record of working in a similar role within a managed services, IT, or automation-focused organization
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering actionable insights and measurable improvements through data analytics

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, Python, or R
  • Expertise in visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalenT
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and big data platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services is a plus
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, ServiceNow, UiPath) and AI/ML frameworks is an advantage

Soft Skills

  • Must be fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Confidence in presenting complex findings to both technical and business stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certifications in data analytics, visualization, or cloud platforms (e.g., Google Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst) are a plus
